Brentwood is a community in Contra Costa County, United States, California. It is located within the San Francisco Bay Area’s East Bay district. As of 2010, the population is 51,481, an increase of 121 percent from 23,302 in the census of 2000.

The Los Medanos College started running a satellite facility at the city’s Sand Creek Road and Brentwood Boulevard (Brentwood Centre). The current Center has outgrown its small space in an old grocery store, where it has no scope for expansion. The Brentwood Center has bought land in the southwestern part of the city, where it plans to construct a new 18 acres (7.3 ha) campus. The building is planned to start in 2018 and classes are expected to start in spring 2020.
