Solar Consulting for HOAs & Large Organizations

Ensure a fair and accurate solar bidding process with Solar Harmonics' comprehensive RFP and consulting services, tailored to your commercial project needs.

The Challenge of Comparing Solar Bids

Most commercial construction projects over a certain size are generally required to collect a minimum of 3 bids for comparison. The problem with this process is that once the bids are collected, what is the criteria used to make sure there is an ‘apples to apples’ comparison? Especially with the introduction of the NEM 3.0 program, if you asked 10 solar companies to prepare a bid to offset a monthly electricity bill of $1,200 per month, for example, the variation of the bids received would be staggering.

Creating a Uniform Request for Proposal (RFP)

To correct this issue, Solar Harmonics is able to assemble a ‘Request for Proposal’ document that can be sent out to any interested solar contractor, where each aspect of the project will be outlined. This way, the bids can be collected according to the uniform RFP, and any installers that do not comply with the RFP will not be considered.

Sourcing Reliable Solar Installers

Solar Harmonics can also assist in sourcing other solar installers based on their length of time in business and reputation, ensuring that you work with experienced and trustworthy contractors.

Flexible Pricing and Service Options

In general, the cost of the RFP & evaluation service is 10% of the awarded solar contract. Alternatively, if Solar Harmonics is able to bid on the project, the service fee is waived.
