Gale Ranch Middle School is a diverse community whose goal is to provide an inclusive, healthy, caring atmosphere that encourages our students to be prepared holistically to become effective human beings and lifelong learners. Middle school can be a difficult time, but they guarantee that your kids and your family will be part of a learning community where they will be welcomed, loved, and supported. They say it takes a village to raise a child, and together they will make sure that students enjoy middle school and leave Gale Ranch prepared, both academically and emotionally, for what is to come in high school.
With the goal of preparing our students to succeed in all aspects, Gale Ranch Middle School opened on August 25, 2008. In this effort, they track and evaluate our effectiveness regularly and change as appropriate. They believe deeply that they learn from their mistakes and provide a positive atmosphere where children can learn, fail, persevere, and thrive. They received the honor of becoming a California Distinguished School in the 2012/2013 school year and were named a California Golden Ribbon school during the 14/15 school year. Via their active character development practices and services, their teachers, students, and parent group work so hard to achieve not only academic success but overall good citizenship. They have an active PTSA and the Fund for Education.
